Tom Jones

Tom is the CQC registered manager at the Wellbourne clinic. Tom has worked in residential addiction treatment services for over a 15 years.

Tom is the CQC registered manager at the Wellbourne clinic. Tom has worked in residential addiction treatment services for over a 15 years. Working in a variety of roles, addictions counselling, team leading, CQC management, Nominated Individual and directorship. Tom has a good working knowledge, of health and social care, and regulatory requirements. Having started out as a therapist completing his degree in addictions counselling Tom change his direction in leadership and management, completing a Level 5 diploma in leadership and management of childrens and adults services.

Laura Soper

As an experienced person-centred counsellor Laura has a level 5 qualification in counseling and has worked with various organisations including Warwickshire Police, Warwickshire County Council,school settings and charities, as well as running her own private practice.

Laura is passionate about working with trauma and addiction and believes it is not ‘what is wrong with you’ but ‘what has happened to you’. She provides a confidential, non-judgemental, and ethical space for clients to encounter the process of change.’

Dr Naheem Bashir

Dr. Bashir is an independent General Practitioner with more than two decades of clinical experience. His primary focus lies in medically addressing drug and alcohol misuse issues.

Dr. Bashir is an independent General Practitioner with more than two decades of clinical experience. His primary focus lies in medically addressing drug and alcohol misuse issues. Dr. Bashir has played a vital role in providing clinical support to various drug and alcohol detox services across the UK. His extensive experience encompasses effectively managing medical concerns associated with addiction and withdrawal symptoms. At the Wellbourne Clinic, Dr. Bashir will assume the role of lead prescriber, leading a team of dedicated staff who will provide additional support.

Support Worker

Claire Adams

Claire our support worker has a BSc in psychology with counselling and is currently completing an MSc in iintegrated counselling and psychotherapy. She has multiple years of experience in the field of mental health.

Hi my name is claire, I have a Bsc in Psychology with Counselling and currently completing an Msc in Integrated counselling and psychotherapy.

My professional experience has been mainly within Adult and children's mental health support. For the past two years I was a service coordinator in therapeutic setting for children and young adults with trauma backgrounds. Outside of work I have a keen interest in History and archaeology, I enjoy visiting historical sites.
I like punk, metal and goth music and go to gigs as often as I can.

Jon is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. Jon is also an experienced registered Manager with over 15 years of experience working in addiction treatment.

Lauren Howlett

Lauren our admissions lead has multiple years of experience in the field of addiction recovery.

I’m Lauren and I am a dedicated and compassionate individual whose life journey has been profoundly shaped by my experiences and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others. With a background steeped in addiction recovery, life coaching, holistic therapies and a passion for promoting wellbeing, I strive to help others discover the path to recovery and a fulfilling life. I am a skilled life coach who understands the importance of personal growth and self discovery in the recovery process, my belief is to treat the individual as a whole, addressing not just the addiction itself but also the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of recovery.

For the past four years, I have been deeply involved in the field of addiction recovery. My extensive experience in this area, coupled with my academic studies in humanistic counselling and psychotherapy, provides me with a unique and well rounded perspective on the complexities of addiction and the journey into recovery. I draw from both professional knowledge and lived experience and have an exceptional insight into the challenges faced by those seeking to break free from the shackles of active addiction.

Outside of my professional pursuits, I am an advocate for health and fitness and I actively promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle in the broader context of addiction recovery and mental health.

I am a living testament of a transformative and diverse recovery program and I am dedicated to sharing that transformation with others.
